Bespoke legal excellence for international entrepreneurs
A Zurich law firm for mergers and acquisitions, private wealth and cross-border matters.
We advise ultra-high-net-worth entrepreneurs, their businesses, family offices and their families. Our focus lies in M&A, private market transactions and deal structuring, regulatory licensing and government relations — work that is rarely confined to one jurisdiction.
We act on the acquisition and disposal of international businesses, on private debt and private equity, on arbitration, and on shipping and equine matters. We also advise entrepreneurs and private clients on international relocations and everything that follows from them. From real estate on Suvretta Hill to a winning horse at Cheltenham, our lawyers work across disciplines and time zones and stay closely engaged until the matter is closed.
About Davidoff Law
Swiss law is our foundation, and most of our mandates cross at least one border. Our work covers corporate law, wealth structuring and regulatory compliance.
Every mandate is treated with the same care and discretion, whatever its size.
Davidoff Law is recommended by peers, clients and external parties – please request further information.
Depth of Experience
Decades in legal practice, together with experience in finance and company leadership, mean our advice is written to be acted on.
International Reach
We act on matters in the United Kingdom, the United States, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, Monaco and the UAE, as well as across Switzerland.
Tailored Solutions
Every strategy is built for the matter in front of us. Sometimes that is a structure across four jurisdictions, and sometimes it is a one-page contract.
Confidentiality and Trust
Discretion is part of the mandate, not an extra. Information shared with us stays within the team handling the matter.
Areas of practice
Corporate Law, M&A and Private Markets
Our transactional practice extends to private market transactions, including private equity and private debt. We have particular expertise in complex cross-border transactions, where an understanding of different legal, regulatory and commercial environments is essential to achieving our clients’ objectives.
Shipping, Art, Real Estate, Equine Law and Escrow
We also advise on transactions involving works of art, horses, real estate and other luxury assets like yachts and private planes, frequently across multiple jurisdictions. Our equine practice extends from the United States to the UAE. For art and luxury assets we usually focus on private transactions.
Where required, we provide escrow services, holding and releasing funds securely and in accordance with the agreed terms of the transaction.
Listings, Regulation and Government Relations
We advise on securities listings on major international exchanges and work closely with the relevant regulatory authorities throughout the process. Our expertise extends to a broad range of regulatory matters, including licensing requirements and applications for financial market participants. We advise on token structuring, blockchain transactions and artificial intelligence projects.
We are highly experienced in dealing with regulators, government authorities and public bodies across jurisdictions. Our government relations practice enables us to assist clients in navigating the intersection of business, regulation and government.
Relocations, Wealth Planning, Insurance, Trusts and Foundations
We also advise private clients and families on the structuring and reorganisation of their wealth, including arrangements involving insurance solutions, trusts and foundations. Our work extends throughout the life cycle of such structures, from their establishment and ongoing administration to restructuring, migration and, where appropriate, their orderly termination or dissolution. Working across jurisdictions, we seek to ensure that relocation and wealth planning are considered as part of a coherent and sustainable international structure.
Arbitration and Litigation
Our international arbitration practice encompasses acting as counsel and party representatives, as well as serving as legal experts and appointed arbitrators in international proceedings. Whether through negotiation, arbitration or litigation, our focus remains on protecting our clients’ interests and achieving a commercially sensible resolution.
